The Oracle - Air Jordan I Retro KO Hi

Big news for all Jordan-heads: the shoe previously known as the AJKO is getting its first reissue since it originally came out back in 1985.

The AJKO is, of course, the canvas version of the Air Jordan 1, and is being released in two colours. The Air Jordan I was Michael Jordan's debut signature shoe, and it became a mainstay in mid-to-late 80s playgrounds. During its original two-year tenure, the Air Jordan I reportedly sold more than a million units. The hysteria eventually resulted in some poor kids being shot for their shoes and, more recently, original pairs in mint condition were being resold for tens of thousands of pounds.

There are some minor differences from the original: the red is a little deeper and the sole has been yellowed in a curious way, but otherwise this is as good a retro-style Jordan as you'll see. Rumour has it these are limited to 5,000 pairs, and were released on March 27. There may be a few pairs left, so don't sleep. The usual spots will be stocking them.
