Carri Mundane Likes hot cosplay girls

OK, I'm not gonna lie, I was never into anime or manga until I went to uni and got into Akira, Ghost in the Shell and visual kei. But who doesn't like weapons? I've always been a confused geek being both part-goth and part-chav (that's white trash to you, Americans), into comics, gaming and science fiction. These things have always been a massive part of my life and I've always loved dressing up, even if doing this cosplay event in a convention center kind of misses the point. I liked the feeling of unity and empowerment amongst the geeks, being free to be whoever they wanted to be.

I really dig the dedication, most of these costumes are handmade. Also, there is a lot of cross-dressing in cosplay, girls as boys and girl-on-girl action, this is probably due to anime's androgynous heroes and yoai manga, but probably also because the girls are always way hotter than the boys at cosplay events. Standard. Same for any goth night or fetish club, for some reason those places are boy fail.

Cute boy.

Then there's the hair. Nicki Minaj ain't got shit on these girls. Well, this is actually i-D stylist Matthew Josephs.

Maybe surprisingly, there's a lot of romance in these places. Look at the intensity in the eyes of this couple. FYI, David Bowie sporting tights in Labyrinth was a bit of a sexual awakening for me. Cosplay balls are the best place to make out with a Sailor Moon babe or the dude from Death Note, the idea of dressing up with your boy or girlfriend, being you and them against the world, is the cutest thing ever. Actually, two of my cousins met their partners on World Of Warcraft. Hate if you like, but is fantasizing you're an orc really so different from fantasizing about being famous, rich or successful or whatever?

In case you're not getting this, cosplay is about the babes. Any girl that grinds on a giant sword, has a tail, or super powers is my type of girl.
