Who: Honduran immigrant Carlos Campos shows well-tailored, brightly-colored suits.

What: Inspired by Love In The Time Of Cholera, the collection’s accompanying press release read like an epic romance novel itself. Most laughable snippet: “Warm browns have been fused with passionate rose reds, alongside deep midnight blues and roasted honey wheat to express a story that will leave you both lovesick and thirsty for more.” Prints described as “whimsical” were just kinda wussy.

How: The presentation was part of The 8th Floor men’s block at Made. The set was littered with colored leaves and the walkway lined with piles of books, hammering home the autumn romance theme much too literally.

Vibe: Whimsical is never in.
