ALICE LEE

Who: Alice Lee used to design for BoyLondon, it's unlikely she left on moral grounds after their collaboration with The Cobrasnake, but let's give her the benefit of the doubt and say maybe she did— then again she definitely didn’t. 

What: Navy and black body-con knitwear with hard woven details and fur patches that would look appropriate on Alice Dellal and probably nowhere else. The standout piece was a soft grungy red jumper shot through with bands of leather, but unfortunately most 90s references were suppressed, and replaced with metallic asymmetric fashion bullshit. Everything was vaguely reminiscent of Gabriella Marina Gonzalez’s SS11 collection, but not quite as good.

How: Even though the models had their hair swept over their faces and pinned so it completely covered their eyes—great idea, whoever came up with that gem—this show still managed to maintain about as much charisma and suspense as Pixie Lott on a bad day.
