Vice Style

We first came across the impossibly young-looking, but actually 23-year-old, Russian photographer Dasha Love when VICE contributor Aza Shade first submitted a shoot to VICE over two years ago. The shoot was really just Aza's Russian friends fooling around, but it sort of looked real.

When we called Aza in we liked the way she actually seemed to value parties over handbags and she thought we were lame. For example, when we asked if she'd shoot street style pictures for us, she simply replied, "I can't take photographs at east London parties because they are shit". Aza opened up this whole new world of clued-up, beautiful Russian fashion kids. Of those friends, two super-hot skinny blonds Polina and Dasha made us lose our minds and to top it all, they were also friends with awesome Russian photographer and designer, Gosha Rubchinsky. Basically, these girls ruled our world.

But back to Dasha. Like all Russian's in London, she seems to have a total disregard for personal safety—she just totally doesn't get that females who look like they're still in school, probably shouldn't walk across the dodgiest estates in London at 3am. And to those of you who care, she can actually skate too. She's a photographer by trade and, although straight, has a great eye for other hot girls. She also contributes to all girl photography site The Ardorous. Dasha, somehow manages to look vulnerable, girly, and kinda tough, all at the same.
